Charle-Edouard de Surville studied at HEC and began his professional life as a consultant and entrepreneur. After several years he decided to reconnect with his passion for sound and music and created the production studio GetSound then the collective Getlab. While the group includes designers, musicians, photographers, videasts, programmers, technicians … Fascinated by technology, he builds devices to increase, change, transform the relationship between a sound and its source. Robots, algorithms and sensors modify visual and sound perceptions, transforming the relationships between an event, a gesture, a movement and their sound space.
Alone, in collaboration with visual artists or as a member of the collective LFKs, his work has been heard in many festivals and institutions: the Avignon Festival, the Tokyo F / T Festival, the Grandes Eaux Nocturnes de Versailles, or the Lyric Art Festival of Aix …
