The chair congres is a series of works by the LFKs group of artists. The first one was presented at the French opera Festival d’Aix. A bigger one was exposed at the Shangai Biennale.
These congres are visual installations as well as true musical instruments since the air used to move the chairs is also used to play real organ pipes.
A computer controlled musical sheet leads simultaneously the movements and the music of the piece.
